PURPOSE: A landscaping tree planted on a waste road, and a planting method thereof are provided to restore the natural environment of the waste road. CONSTITUTION: A planting method of a landscaping tree planted on a waste road comprises the following steps: punching plural holes on a paved surface of the waste road after crushing the paved surface(S110); digging the strata of the waste road to obtain a hollow hole for planting the landscaping tree(S120); installing base soil on the strata of the hollow hole(S130); planting the landscaping tree on the base soil(S140); and sowing seeds around the planted landscaping tree(S150). The seeds are herbaceous flowering plants.
