<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a cooler, in which a corrugated fin and a top plate are joined together without deforming both forms of the corrugated fin and the top plate. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a cooler manufactures the cooler 1 that includes: the top plate 14 for bringing a frame 12 into a sealed state; the corrugated fin 3 formed in a corrugated shape and having a fin flow passage 34 through which a cooling medium flows; and a corrugated fin brazing material 4 for joining the top plate 14 with the corrugated fin 3, wherein the top plate 14 is pressed onto the corrugated fin 3 and the heated corrugated fin brazing material 4 is melt and inserted between the top plate 14 and the corrugated fin 3 to join the top plate and the corrugated fin together. In the method for manufacturing a cooler, the corrugated fin brazing material 4 is a laminar brazing foil, the brazing foil is an accordion-folded elastic body in which a mountain fold 41 and a valley fold 42 are alternately repeated, the mountain fold 41 and the valley fold 42 are formed in a direction perpendicular to the fin flow passage 34, and the brazing foil is formed of an elastic body, thereby bringing the top plate 14 and the corrugated fin 3 closer to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
