<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify an overlap period for executing a plurality of asynchronous processes to enable performance analysis of processes during the period. <P>SOLUTION: Provided is a performance analysis method for a computer system comprising a communication path between an operation unit and a memory, and between operation units. The computer system comprises a performance information acquisition unit for specifying a parallel processing period in which a plurality of operation units execute processes in parallel. The performance analysis method includes: a step in which the performance information acquisition unit acquires a processing program including an execution instruction of a first asynchronous processes; a step for, if it is determined that another asynchronous processes other than the first asynchronous processes are not executed, determining the time when the execution instruction of the first asynchronous processes is read out as a start point of the parallel processing period: and a step for, if it is determined that the other asynchronous processes other than the first asynchronous processes are not executed, determining the time when the first asynchronous process is terminated as an end point of the parallel processing period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
