<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely complete fastening operation by temporarily applying high voltage to a motor using a capacitor. <P>SOLUTION: The powered rotation tool 1 having the motor 6, an output shaft 10 onto which a distal end tool is mounted, power transmitting means (7, 8) for transmitting the rotation power of the motor 6 to the output shaft, and housings (2, 3) for housing them is provided with a battery pack 4 and a capacitor 23 for feeding, power to the motor 6, the motor 6 is driven by either one of the battery pack 4 or the capacitor 23. The tool is equipped with a switch alternatively selecting the power feeding from the battery pack 4 or the capacitor 23 to the motor 6. The capacitor 23 can feed the voltage higher than the voltage fed from the battery pack 4 to the motor 6 only in a short time for example within a few seconds.
