<p>The method involves alerting a modem (5), of a network (1) e.g. home network, by a domestic inverter (4) following a failure in an electrical power source which is connected to the inverter. An imminent end message (s2) of the electrical power source is transmitted via the modem to a user terminal e.g. personal computer. A connectivity loss message (s3) of the power source is sent to another network (6) e.g. wide area network, via the modem, for the attention of a network operator (8). A service message is sent to a service provider which provides a service to the terminal. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a modem installed in a network (2) a computer program has instructions for receiving an alert signal emitted by an inverter and transmitting an imminent end message of an electric power source on an interface of a network (3) a user terminal utilized in a network (4) a computer program has instructions for receiving an end message and sending connectivity loss message towards a network managed by a network operator (5) a system comprising two networks.</p> |
