<p>The invention relates to a method for continuous purification of aquaculture water holding living aquatic animals and/or aquatic plants, wherein a hydroxyl radical precursor compound is added to the aquaculture water, and said aquaculture water is exposed to UV-C radiation in a separate region in order to create hydroxyl radicals.
