摘要 <p>The process comprises introducing a non-explosive cartridge containing an inert gas under pressure into a material by openings (3), and releasing the inert gas in the material. The material is normally drained from a tank (1) of a chemical reactor or a refinery by gravity, and is present as agglomerated block to be fluidized. The non-explosive cartridge is arranged at a back and at an end of elongated body (5). The cartridge is provided with a gas outlet vent transversely directed to an elongation axis of the cartridge towards the elongated body than to the free end. The process comprises introducing a non-explosive cartridge containing an inert gas under pressure into a material by openings (3), and releasing the inert gas in the material. The material is normally drained from a tank (1) of a chemical reactor or a refinery by gravity, and is present as agglomerated block to be fluidized. The non-explosive cartridge is arranged at a back and at an end of elongated body (5). The cartridge is provided with: a gas outlet vent transversely directed to an elongation axis of the cartridge towards the elongated body than to the free end; and a discharge head provided with a removable discharge vent connected at a rear of a tube containing the gas. The tank contains a confined gaseous medium (13), which is not breathable by human, and/or a medium that is different from the surrounding to prohibit the human access or requires breathing apparatus and/or flame retardant protection. The tank is internally depleted of oxygen in a confined atmosphere, and has a dead volume, where the material to be drained is located downwards with respect to a level of the draining opening and the cartridge is placed above the dead volume. The process further comprises providing a connection between the discharge head and the tube to an interior of the material so that an end before the cartridge touches an interior wall of the tank. The cartridge contains liquefied gas of 1200-3000 g. The process is carried out a temperature of less than 60[deg] C. An independent claim is included for a process of emptying a chemical reactor tank including petrochemical or a refinery provided draining openings.</p>
