Producing a fiber composite material comprises: (a) bringing in contact of collagen derivatives with globular proteins, metal salts, natural or synthetic fibers, glass granules and silver nitrate under predetermined conditions, which results a compound comparable/similar to a fiber reinforced plastic; and (b) preserving the fiber composite material. Independent claims are also included for: (1) use of gelatin for producing the fiber composite material; and (2) producing the fiber composite material for applying in mold making, comprising (i) providing the fiber composite material for producing of a molding as above, and (ii) providing the fiber composite material for mold making, comprises the use of perfluorocarbon tracers as insulation materials.
