<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire air pressure monitoring system which allows vehicle design with higher flexibility while reducing cost. <P>SOLUTION: The tire air pressure monitoring system includes: sensor units U1-U4 which detect an air pressure of a tire, and transmit a detection signal including information on the detected air pressure and an identification code by radio; and a monitoring controlling part 13 which receives the detection signal and monitors the air pressure of the tire based on information of the air pressure included in the same signal. The monitoring controlling part 13 collates the identification code included in the detection signal and an identification code registered on itself, and determines whether the information on the air pressure included in the detection signal indicates the air pressure of the tire to be monitored through the collation. Here, the monitoring controlling part 13 executes processing of registering the identification codes of the sensor units U1-U4 in starting up itself. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
