<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent such a trouble that, when authentication printing is performed by means of an IC card owned by an individual, a person other than an IC card owner impersonates the IC card owner and performs printing. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a job receiving section 10 which receives a print job D including print data D14, a sender IP address D12 and card owner's ID information D13 from a host device 1-1; an IC card information receiving section 50 which receives the ID information from the ID card; a host device monitoring section 40 which monitors the operating state of the host device 1-1; and a printing permission determination section which when the card owner's ID information D13 is received by the IC card information receiving section 50, does not permit a job printing section to perform the printing of the print data D14 when the host device 1-1 is not operated as a result of monitoring by the host device monitoring section 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
