<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of leading to saving in use of a projection lamp. <P>SOLUTION: When a power source is turned on, the lamp lighting time, the time during which a no-signal state of an image signal continues and the time during which a mute state continues are respectively measured by a lamp lighting time timer 44, a no-signal timer 40 and a mute timer 42. Then, when one of the no-signal time and the mute time measured by the no-signal timer 40 and the mute timer 42 exceeds a set no-signal time and the set mute time respectively set beforehand, the measured lamp lighting time, the no-signal time and the mute time are respectively added to the accumulated lamp lighting time, the accumulated no-signal time and the accumulated mute time after lamp exchange stored to a lamp lighting time storing section 46 as well as displaying the total accumulated lamp lighting time, the total accumulated no-signal time and the total accumulated mute time by an image projecting section 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
