摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device whose AF accuracy is improved. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device 1 of the present invention comprises a diaphragm 24 for adjusting the amount of subject light which passes through an imaging optical system 20 including a focus lens 23, multiple focus detection parts 210 to 221 provided on an expected imaging surface 101 of the subject light, including multiple pairs of photoelectric conversion elements each of which is composed of a pair of photoelectric conversion elements 122, 123, and capable of detecting a focus state of the subject light at a position where each of the focus detection parts is provided, a selection part 11, 16 for selecting a specific focus detection part 210 to 221 among the focus detection parts 210 to 221, and a control part 11, 25 which performs drive control of the focus lens 23 such that the subject light is focused on the position where the selected focus detection part is provided based on the focus state detected by the selected focus detection part and changes a selectable area on the expected imaging surface 101, in which the selection part 11, 16 can select the focus detection parts, according to an opening diameter of the diaphragm 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
