PROGNOSTIC GENES FOR EARLY BREAST CANCER AND PROGNOSTIC MODEL FOR EARLY BREAST CANCER PATIENTS

PURPOSE: A kit for predicting metastasis of breast cancer using a gene for predicting cancer prognosis is provided to analyze genetic characteristic of early breast cancer. CONSTITUTION: A method for selecting a gene for predicting cancer prognosis comprises: a step of collecting cancer tissues from a patient group having clinical information; a step of classifying patients developing cancer metastasis before the point of time in the patient group into a bad prognosis group; a step of classifying patients without cancer metastasis after the point of time in the patient group into a good prognosis group; a step of collecting expression profile of the gene from the collected cancer tissue; a step of selecting a gene having expression level difference between the good and bad prognosis groups; and a step of classifying the selected genes by each expression pattern.
