<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet feeding device 11 that not only prevents the occurrence of a skew or paper jamming of a recording material P but also eliminates a failure of paper feeding that is caused by a contact failure between the recording material P and a roller member 21. <P>SOLUTION: The paper sheet feeding device 11 includes: an placing part 12 for placing the recording material P; the roller member 21 for feeding the recording material P placed on the placing part 12 one by one; a pair of lateral regulating members 15 for regulating a position in a width direction of the recording material P placed on the placing part 12, at least one of which is configured to be movable in a width direction; and a detection device 40 disposed in the proximity of a nipping part T of the roller member 21 with the recording material P, movable with the lateral regulating member 15 and detecting the presence or absence of the recording material P by the abutment on the recording material P on the placing part 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
