<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication processing apparatus in which a processing time required for biometric authentication can be shortened, an authentication processing method and a program. <P>SOLUTION: An authentication processing apparatus 20 includes a plurality of biological information databases 25 each for pairing up and registering biological information for registration to be used for biometric authentication with an action pattern for registration, a registration section 26 which sets an action pattern to be registered for each biological information database and registers biological information for registration into the biological information database 25 of which the action pattern set as a registration target is matched with the action pattern for registration, a database selection section 23 which specifies an action pattern of a user in inputting biological information and selects the corresponding biological information database 25 on the basis of the specified action pattern, and a collation section 22 which executes processing for collating the biological information for registration registered in the selected biological information database 25 with the inputted biological information and determines matching of the both. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
