<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for improving traction performance on an on-snow road surface, while maintaining partial wear resistance and maneuvering stability on a dry road surface. <P>SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire is provided by partitioning and forming a tread part in block-shaped land parts by one central circumferential directional groove 1 extending in a zigzag shape along the tire circumferential direction, a pair of side circumferential directional grooves 2 extending in the tire circumferential direction, a plurality of central width directional grooves 3, and a plurality of side width directional grooves 4. The land part is formed with a plurality of sipes 7 extending in a zigzag shape along the tire width direction, the number of central width directional grooves 3 is equal to the number of side width directional grooves 4, bottom raising parts 3s and 4s for connecting the land parts adjacent in the tire circumferential direction are arranged in bottom parts of the central width directional grooves 3 and the side width directional grooves 4, and the bottom raising parts 3s and 4s are formed with tapered parts in outside end parts in the tire width direction.
