<p>The present invention provides a digital subtitle broadcast recorder comprising: a video signal receiver, audio signal receiver, and subtitle data signal receiver for receiving a video signal, audio signal and subtitle data signal from a digital subtitle broadcast; a video signal transmitter, audio signal transmitter, and subtitle data signal transmitter which receive the signals from the video signal receiver, audio signal receiver, and subtitle data signal receiver, and transmit these signals to a viewer monitor; and a variable display adjuster which is provided between the video/audio signal receivers and the video/audio signal transmitters, and can adjust the timing of video display and audio output in conjunction with the display of subtitles on the viewer monitor. The purpose of the present invention is to obtain a digital subtitle broadcast recorder which receives a video signal, audio signal and subtitle data signal from a conventional subtitle broadcast and displays unmodulated and unmodified subtitles on a viewer monitor, and also can display video and output audio which have been variably adjusted in conjunction with the display timing of the subtitles. Another purpose of the present invention is to provide a digital subtitle broadcast recorder which can record subtitle data, store said data, and reproduce and display said data on a viewer monitor when required.</p> |
