<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ionizer for supplying a negative ion to air in a space, for instance, to air in a car compartment of an automobile, namely, the ionizer capable of guaranteeing sufficient supply of the negative ion to peripheral air even when a structure space capable of installing the ionizer is a very small use place. <P>SOLUTION: An emitter of the ionizer is arranged to be spatially separated from a high voltage generator of the ionizer.
