<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell, in which a flow control of a cooling medium in a separator surface can be easily and reliably performed to enable a cooling efficiency to be further improved. <P>SOLUTION: A first separator 24 includes a fuel gas passage 42, and a plurality of first protruding portions 44 are formed on a backside of the fuel gas passage 42. A second separator 26 includes an oxidant gas passage 46, and a second protruding portion 48 is formed on a backside of the oxidant gas passage 46. A first top face 44a of the first protruding portion 44 and a second top face 48a of the second protruding portion 48 constitute a separation portion 50 by separating each other to form a cooling medium passage 54, and a continuous contact portion 52 by contacting each other along a predetermined length to form a seal region to prevent the cooling medium from flowing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
