<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording method which can afford printed matter excelling in abrasion-resistance, and to provide an aqueous ink used for the method. <P>SOLUTION: (1) The inkjet recording method comprises a step (I) for applying the aqueous ink, which includes a water-insoluble polymer particle containing a pigment, polyethylene glycol hexyl ether with a 4-30 average number of added moles in ethylene oxide, and water, to a recording medium through the inkjet recording method; and a step (II) for heating the obtained recording surface on the recording medium to 50-80°C.
