<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a webbing take-up device which can easily measure a gap by directly measuring the gap between a ratchet tooth of a lock gear and a lock tooth of a lock plate from a front face. <P>SOLUTION: On leg plates 14, 16 which are arranged at the other axial end of a spool 18 rather than the ratchet 68A of the lock gear 68 and the lock tooth 66A of the lock plate 66, there are formed notched windows 22A, 22B which are opened at a mutual engagement position of the ratchet tooth 68A and the lock tooth 66A, and at a position opposing the engagement position in the axial direction of the spool 18. By this, prior to the installation of a spring cover 26 to the outside of the leg plate 16 in a state of being assembled with a component constituting a lock mechanism 30, the gap between the ratchet tooth 68A of the lock gear 68 and the lock tooth 66A of the lock plate 66 can directly be measured by an axial view of the spool 18 from a side opposite to the side of a sensor holder 32 via a frame 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
