<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC-DC converter circuit that reduces coil loss and switching loss by changing the inductance of a coil without changing the driving frequency of a switching element. <P>SOLUTION: The DC-DC converter circuit includes a first coil, a first switching element, a first diode, a second coil, a second switching element, a second diode, and a controller. When a DC output is in a high-output mode that provides an output equal to or higher than a predetermined value, the controller switches the on and off operations of the first switching element at a predetermined frequency to turn off the second switching element. When a DC output is in a low-output mode that provides an output lower than the predetermined value, the controller turns off the first switching element and switches the on and off operations of the second switching element at a predetermined frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
