<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability of a process cartridge and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The process cartridge includes a drum unit 8 and a developing unit 9 coupled as swingable, in which a swinging center 62 of the developing unit 9 is laid in the range within a shorter length L3 of a sealing member 43. Thereby, upon dismounting the sealing member 43, the posture of the developing unit 9 is stabilized, which improves operability. In the image forming apparatus, which enables dismounting of the sealing member 43 while the apparatus mounts the process cartridge including the drum unit 8 and the developing unit 9 coupled as swingable, the swinging center 62 of the developing unit 9 is laid in the range within the shorter length L3 of the sealing member 43.
