<p>The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a proxy method, device and system for a voice over internet protocol (Voip) service. The method comprises: after receiving a request, sent by a Voip service device, for entering a power saving state, sending a heartbeat message to a soft switch application layer; upon reception of a call request from the soft switch application layer, regularly replying a ring-back tone to the soft switch application layer and sending an activation message to the Voip service device; after receiving a request, replied by the Voip service device, a request for ending the power saving state, forwarding the call request to the Voip service device, and stopping replying the ring-back tone to the soft switch application layer; and forwarding the received ring-back tone, sent by the Voip service device, to the soft switch application layer. When the Voip service device is in the power saving state, the proxy method, device and system for a Voip service provided in the embodiments of the present invention can replace the Voip service device to maintain a working state, and activate the Voip service device upon reception of the call request, thereby ensuring normal use and saving resources.</p> |
