<p>The disclosed tablet device has a pressing operation unit for receiving pressing operations from an indicator, and a controller for detecting the pressing position of the indicator on the pressing operation unit. The aforementioned pressing operation unit is provided with: a frame; multiple partition walls partitioning the inner space of the frame into multiple spaces; an elastic sheet which is disposed above the partition walls so as to cover the multiple spaces partitioned by the partition walls and which elastically deforms in the direction orthogonal to the surface of the partition walls; a pressure-sensitive sheet which, laminated on the elastic sheet, outputs as pressing position information the position where the indicator presses; sensors which, disposed on the partition walls, output as indicator position information the position of the indicator on the partition wall if the indicator is positioned on a partition wall; actuators which deform the elastic sheet; and an incompressible fluid filling the aforementioned spaces enclosed by the frame, the partition walls, and the elastic sheet. The aforementioned controller controls operation of the actuators on the basis of the aforementioned pressing position information and the aforementioned indicator position information.</p> |
