<p>It is an object of the invention a head immobilizer (10) comprising two integrated pairs of lateral supports (1, 2) adapted to support the head of a person, once the head is inserted in the space between said support pairs (1, 2); the first pair (1) being larger than the second pair (2) and characterized in that, once connected together, the bulk of the two pairs (1, 2) is equal to the bulk of the larger component (1). It is also an object of the invention the use of a head immobilizer for supporting, besides the head of a patient, also other body parts, by using all or at least some of the pads (1, 2).</p> |
