<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate foreign matter entering into water taken from a water intake source to an inside of a water intake pit into organic species and trash larger in size than the organic species, to return the organic species to the water intake source and to collect the trash. <P>SOLUTION: A trash collecting device 1 comprises: foreign matter removing means 2 for removing foreign matter 44 entering into water 43 taken from a water intake source 42 to an inside of a water intake pit 40 from the inside of the water intake pit 40; and collecting means 11 for collecting the foreign matter 44 having been removed from the inside of the water intake pit 40 by the foreign matter removing means 2. Separating means 5 is disposed between the foreign matter removing means 2 and the collecting means 11 so as to separate the foreign matter 44 into organic species 45 and trash 46 larger in size than the organic species 45, to return the organic species 45 to the water intake source 42 and to guide the trash 46 to the collecting means 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
