PURPOSE: An organic electro-luminescent display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent deformation of a planarized film and a pixel defined layer by discharging out gassing of the planarized film to outside. CONSTITUTION: A substrate(10) includes a pixel area and a transistor area. A thin film transistor is formed on the transistor area of the substrate. The thin film transistor includes a planarized film(26) and an opening part(32). The planarized film is formed on the upper side of a source/drain electrode(22). The opening part exposes some part of a first electrode(28) electrically connected with the source/drain electrode to outside.
