<p>A method for preparing a formulation comprising clomazone is disclosed, the method comprising the steps of (i) combining microcapsules having a polymer shell and a core comprising clomazone, a solid carrier and a binder and/or a dispersant to form a mixture; (ii) forming granules from the resulting mixture; (iii) applying a composition comprising a binder and/or a dispersant to coat the granules; and (iv) drying the thus coated granules. The solid carrier may be aluminium silicate, the binder may be sulphonated lignin and the dispersant may be naphthalene sulphonate. Granules prepared by the methods and their use in controlling plant growth are also disclosed.</p> |
