PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a cellulose ester film wherein the angle of visibility may be easily improved, to provide a polarizing plate using this film and a liquid crystal display device wherein the angle of visibility may be improved with a simple structure. SOLUTION: An optically biaxial cellulose ester film is obtained by casting a cellulose ester dope liquid in a casting support, releasing a web (film) from the casting support and at least monoaxially stretching the web by a factor of from 1.0 to 4.0 while the amount of a residual solvent within the web is <=100 mass%, specifically from 10 to 100 mass%. |
