<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate an appropriate inspection period or management period to appropriately distribute maintenance costs. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Information indicating the type of an inspection for inspecting equipment, the range of the inspection, and the degree of deterioration obtained as the result of the inspection is input from an input part 12. An inspection period table in which the calculation method of the inspection period to the equipment is defined is stored in a table storage part 20 according to an inspection effective index and the degree of deterioration to the equipment. The inspection effective index is calculated on the basis of the type of inspection and the range of inspection input from the input part 12 by an inspection effective index calculation part 18, the calculation method of the inspection period corresponding to the calculated inspection effective index and the degree of deterioration input from the input part 12 is acquired on the basis of the calculated inspection effective index and the inspection period table to calculate a marginal inspection period by an inspection period calculation part 24.
