PURPOSE: An electronic device and an operating method thereof are provided to control a direction of a camera lens to make the direction of the camera lens to be the same as at least one of a slope or a driving direction of a driving road. CONSTITUTION: When At least one of a slope of a driving road and a driving direction is larger than a fixed reference value, a navigator determines a change direction(S120,S130). The navigator rotates a camera lens in the determined direction(S140). A black box for a vehicle obtains a driving image by the rotated camera lens(S150). The navigator returns the rotated camera lens back to a reference direction(S160).
