PURPOSE: A light emitting diode having a reflective layer, a light emitting diode package, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve optical extraction efficiency by arranging an electrode which can reflect light generated from an active layer to the outside by using a reflecting layer. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting structure(10) comprises a first conductivity type semiconductor layer, an active layer, and a second conductivity type semiconductor layer. A first electrode(21) is electrically connected to the first conductivity type semiconductor layer and includes a reflecting layer on a side in order to reflect light generated from the active layer. A second electrode(22) is electrically connected to the second conductivity type semiconductor layer.
