FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of rubber-cord shells and may be used for fabrication of wire couplings. In compliance with this invention, the band is assembled from rubber-cord layers in two-step or core building procedure. Outer rubber layer is fitted on said outer rubber layer to complete assembly. Shell is moulded and cured. Note here that shell workpiece, prior to moulding and curing, is subjected to axial stretching by compressed air to 15-40% of finished tire height. Note also that, depending upon preset bond strength, compressed air pressure varies from 0.02 to 0.3 MPa for 30-180 s. ^ EFFECT: higher bond strength. ^ 2 dwg |
