PURPOSE: A position correcting apparatus for laser machining of thin tubes is provided to precisely process a work piece by measuring the run-out displacement of the work piece. CONSTITUTION: A position correcting apparatus for laser machining of thin tubes comprises a base(100), a rotor XYZ stage(200), a rotor(300), a sensor block XYZ stage(400), a sensor block(500), a processing laser(600), and a controller. The rotor XYZ stage is moved in X, Y, and Z axis directions on the top of the base and controlled by the controller. The rotor is controlled by the controller to rotate a work piece(M) around an axis. The sensor block XYZ stage is moved in the X, Y, and Z axis directions on the top of the base. The sensor block surrounds the exterior of the work piece protruding in a longitudinal direction, measures the run-out of the work piece using a run-out detection sensor, and outputs the measured value. The processing laser is controlled by the controller to process the work piece. The controller compares the measured value of the run-out detection sensor with a predetermined reference value to calculate a compensation value the run-out displacement of the work piece and controls the rotor XYZ stage according to the compensation value to compensate an error caused by the run-out displacement. |
