A method for treating the patients with the chronic obstructive disease of the lungs with the concomitant syndrome of the irritated bowel provides for the use of Spasmomen at a dose of 40 mg twice a day for 10-14 days as a supplement to the conventional therapy for treatment optimization in the patients with the infectious acute condition of the chronic obstructive disease of the lungs. Such a therapy reduces the flatulence, diarrhea and abdominal pain due to the exacerbation of the syndrome of the irritated bowel resulting from the administration of antibiotics. As a result, the treatment duration of the acute condition is shortened, the shortness of breath is reduced, the life quality improved, and the tolerance to the physical exercises is augmented. |
