A method for diagnosis of functional state of the brain in patients with encephalopaties and emotional disorders using brain electroencephalography. The frequency and regional indices of electroencephalogram are assessed, namely the directivity of changes of average power of hemispheric asymmetry coherence of alpha-rhythm in central parietal and postcranial adductions of the brain on electroencephalogram areas after eye opening and is compared with corresponding parameters after eye closing.
