PURPOSE: A 3D image display device is provided to concentrate light irradiated onto a liquid crystal display panel in a specific direction using an upper light source, a lower light source, and a vertical viewing angle increasing sheet. CONSTITUTION: A backlight unit comprises an upper light source(202), a lower light source(204), a light guide plate(210), and a vertical viewing angle increasing sheet(212). The upper light source is arranged in the bottom of an upper part of a liquid crystal display panel. The lower light source is arranged on a lower part of the liquid crystal display panel. The light guide plate is arranged between the upper light source and the lower light source. Prism patterns are formed on a lower surface facing the light guide plate of the vertical viewing angle increasing sheet. |
