PURPOSE: A control device and a broadcast receiving device control method are provided to control a broadcast receiving device by unidirectional wireless communication even though bidirectional wireless communication is disabled. CONSTITUTION: A first communication interface unit(210) transmits a control command in a first communication mode using bidirectional wireless communication. A second communication interface unit(220) transmits a control command in a second communication mode using unidirectional wireless communication. A state determining unit(250) determines the communication of the control device. A user interface unit(230) displays a user interface window corresponding to the determined communication mode. The user interface unit receives the control command about a broadcast receiving device. A control unit(260) transmits the control command according to the determined communication mode.
