PURPOSE: A spindle motor is provided to reduce the leakage of a lubricant fluid exposed to the outside of a bearing clearance by forming an interface between the lubricant fluid and air in the bearing clearance. CONSTITUTION: A sleeve(220) pivotally supports a shaft and an insertion hole(222) is included on an upper side of the sleeve. A rotor case(230) is installed in an upper portion of the shaft and includes a projected wall part(236) inserted in the insertion hole. A scattering prevention part(238) prevents the scattering of a lubricant fluid. An interface is arranged in a clearance formed by an external side and the insertion hole of the projected wall part. The insertion hole is arranged between a contact surface and a spaced side. |
