PURPOSE: An organic light emitting diode display device and method for driving the same are provided to correctly sense threshold voltage of driving TFT by increasing sensing time of threshold voltage of driving TFT. CONSTITUTION: A display panel(2) defines as an intersection of a plurality of data lines and gate lines. A timing control unit(8) outputs a plurality of gate and data control signals. A gate driving unit(4) supplies generated multiple gate signals including scan signals to a plurality of gate lines. A data driving unit(6) supplies generated data voltage according to the plurality of data control signals to a plurality of channel lines. A switching unit(10) switches the data voltage provided from the multiple channel lines. |
