PURPOSE: An automated warehousing system is provided to expand the transferring area of a transfer vehicle and to obtain safety while transferring because the gravity center of articles is located in the center of the transfer vehicle by transfers slidingly moving on the top of the transfer vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An automated warehousing system comprises a switching frame(10) and a transfer vehicle(20). The switching frame is installed in a position separated from a crane and is turned around hinges(10b) by the operation of cylinders(10a). The switching frame is operated to switch an article(A). The transfer vehicle has driving wheels(22) to be transferred on rails(22a) between the switching frame and the crane. In the transfer vehicle, a pair of transfers(24) transferred on guide rails(24b) by the operation of cylinders(24a) is arranged on an upper frame(21).
