The device (D) has a cylindrical grey water tank (3) storing grey water by vertically extending lower part supplied with the grey water and providing density separation of water flow. A warmer is concentrated in an upper part of the tank. Flow coldest drains employ directly in the lower part without mixing with hot water stored in the upper part of the tank. A heat exchanger (12) is placed at level of an upper part of the tank for transmission of heat via a tank wall (4), where evacuation of cold water is provided at a level below an arrival of the grey water via a conduit (5). The tank is made of metallic material or composite material resistant to corrosion.
