<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing timepiece components 40 having a little dispersion in the hardness and having metallic luster. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing timepiece components comprises: a heat treating step for heat-treating a timepiece component 40 to coarsen a plurality of crystals 41, 42, and 43 such as titanium; a shape processing step for processing the shape of the timepiece component 40; an etching step for etching the titanium or the like, working the surfaces 41s, 42s, and 43s of the respective crystals 41, 42, and 43 to the mirror-like surfaces, and differentiating the normal directions 41v, 42v, and 43v of the surfaces 41s, 42s, and 43s of the respective crystals 41, 42, and 43; and an anodic oxidation step for subjecting the surface 40s of the timepiece 40 to the anodic oxidation treatment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
