The present invention concerns a system for fixing armor on flat surfaces, in particular for the ballistic protection of walls and roofs of military shelters. Said fixing system is of the type that involves the use of armor in the shape of plates (2) arranged so as to cover the whole surface to be protected, the junction lines between said plates being surmounted by strips of ballistic steel, or other similar material, with means for fixing said plates (2) and said strips to the surfaces to be protected, and it is characterized in that additional tabs (6, 6a, 6b) are used to overlap the junction lines between said strips (4, 4a) in order to eliminate the weakness zones represented by the vertexes (5) of said plates (2), where the corresponding strips (4, 4a) merge. |
