<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vaccine, obtained by using an inactivated antigen for preventing salmonellosis causing lethal and systemic respiratory or digestive disease. <P>SOLUTION: Specified salt and organic acid are added to a medium culture for salmonella proliferation, to induce the expression of defense-associated protein having an effect of increasing immune response reaction. The obtained fungus body is inactivated, and is combined with adjuvant mainly composed of liposome.
