<p>An electric resistance welding parallel electrode welding head (10) comprising two parallel electrodes having electrode bodies (102a, and 102b), and an insulation barrier layer (100) insulatively fixing the two electrode bodies to each other. An upper electrode tip (102b) and a lower electrode tip (102c) respectively are arranged on two opposite ends of each electrode body. The two corresponding electrode tips (102b, and 102c) constitute welding head tips. Both the upper welding head tip and the lower welding head tip are capable of welding a workpiece. The electric resistance welding parallel electrode welding head having two welding head tips employs a basically identical manufacturing method and apparatus as a regular electric resistance parallel electrode welding head. The manufacturing costs are increased slightly, but the service life of the electric resistance welding parallel electrode welding head is extended exponentially.</p> |
