PURPOSE: A weld zone trimming apparatus for a flash butt welding machine is provided to precisely and safely perform a trimming work of ultra-thin strips without bumping an upper bite and a lower bite because a vertical gap between the upper and lower bites are narrowly set. CONSTITUTION: A weld zone trimming apparatus for a flash butt welding machine comprises an upper trimmer block(50) and a lower trimmer block. The lower trimmer block has a guide groove and multiple mounting holes(50b). The guide groove is formed at the bottom surface of the lower trimmer block and is coupled with a guide rail of the lower trimmer block. Multiple bite holders(101) having bites(101a) are inserted on the multiple mounting holes. Each one end of the bites of the multiple bite holders in the lower trimmer block has each different height. Each one end of the bites(104) of the multiple bite holders(105) in the upper trimmer block has each different height. The bites of the multiple bite holders are arranged across each other.
