When SIM measurement is performed on ions derived from a target component separated by a chromatograph, the measurement is performed while the mass resolution is switched between a plurality of resolutions with the mass-to-charge ratio that is a target being the same (S2), and on the basis of data obtained corresponding to respective mass resolutions, extracted ion chromatograms are created (S3). When the extracted ion chromatograms are obtained, the S/N ratios at peaks of the target component are respectively calculated (S4), and the mass resolution at which the S/N ratio is maximum is selected (S5). The selected mass resolution is set as the mass resolution when the same target component in subsequent samples of the same kind is measured (S6), and the target component is quantitated using the extracted ion chromatogram at the selected mass resolution (S7). Consequently, the quantitativity of the target component can be increased without troublesome setting and work by a user. |
