<p>A clutch mechanism (100) for a tape dispenser (10), for example, includes a first reel (14), a second reel (16), a biasing element (102), and a friction element (104). The first and second reels (14, 16) are rotatably disposed on first and second shafts (22a.22b). The biasing element (102) is disposed between the first reel (14) and shaft (22a) such that the first reel (14) is movable in a radial direction relative to the first shaft (22a).
